The 30SG has a hydraulically-driven cutter wheel that is raised and lowered into the stump and then moved from side to side to cut down. The 30SG is powered by a 31hp Briggs & Stratton Vanguard V-Twin engine. Easy controls operate the track drive and cutter wheel. Time-tested track design absorbs impact and provides stability. Center-mounted cutter wheel provides 134º head swing. Trailer available for additional fee.

Complete with an 89-hp (66-kW) GM 3.0L gas engine, the chipper is powered by a dependable electronic fuel injection (EFI) system. This chipper comes standard with the Vermeer  patented SmartFeed technology and has a 12" cutting capacity. The largest, most powerful chipper available for rental in the area. This chipper is 2-3 times faster than the 6" Chipper. Requires 1/2 ton truck to haul.
